March 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian venture capital firm Eleven Ventures confirmed on Thursday that it invested a total of 1.2 million euro ($1.3 million) in four early stage start-ups from Slovenia, Greece and Bulgaria, under a recently inaugurated fast-track programme to support emerging businesses.
The transactions consisted of purchasing a 10% share for 300,000 euro in each of the four selected start-ups under the Eleven Alpha programme launched in October last year, a representative of Eleven Ventures said in response to a SeeNews enquiry.

Earlier this week, the growth investor announced that it is backing Slovenian healthcare and wellness online testing platform Perfeqt, Greek cloud-based sports club management platform myTeam and two Bulgarian companies -- e-commerce content analytics provider True Insights and proptech firm FlatAway. The four start-ups were picked out of over 450 applicants from 25 countries.
FlatAway said earlier this month that Eleven Ventures is leading its 500,000 euro ($532,073) pre-seed funding round that will enable the start-up to expand in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Middle East.
