November 24 (SeeNews) - Electrohold Bulgaria, the electricity supply and distribution arm of diversified group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], said on Thursday that it will spend some 2.38 million levs ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro) in 2023 to upgrade the power transmission grid in the northwestern region of Montana for new and existing clients.
In 2022, Electrohold and its subsidiary Electrodistribution Grid West, or EDG West, invested 1.73 million levs in power grid upgrades and the construction of equipment to add new clients to the grid, the company said in a press statement.
These funds include 590,000 levs for the installation of smart meters in the town of Valchedram as well as over 200,000 levs for the reconstruction of a section of overhead power lines.
