Bulgaria's electricity production jumped by 19.3% year-on-year in February, reaching 4,486 GWh, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
The country's output of oil products also rose in annual terms, to 488,000 tonnes in February, compared with 358,000 tonnes in the same month of 2021, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
On an annual comparison basis, electricity deliveries inched down by 0.6% to 3,033 GWh in the second month of 2022, whereas deliveries of oil products climbed to 300,000 tonnes from 296,000 tonnes a year earlier.
Natural gas deliveries to Bulgaria in February dropped 8.4% year-on-year in February to 318 million cubic metres (cu m). On a monthly comparison basis, those deliveries were also on the decline, down 17.8% compared to gas deliveries in January.
