November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's electricity production decreased by 7.5% year-on-year to 3,708 GWh in September, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.
The country's output of oil products jumped by over a quarter to 624,000 tonnes in September, although petrol production slumped by close to 38% on a monthly basis, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
At the same time, production of solid fuels marked an increase in both annual and monthly comparison terms.
Deliveries of electricity ticked down by 2.5% on the year in September and amounted to 2,336 GWh. Oil products deliveries also declined compared to September 2021, by 2.8% to 383,000 tonnes.
Deliveries of natural gas to Bulgaria dropped by over 30% annually for the second consecutive month, namely by 32.5% to 139 million cubic metres (mcm). Their volume was, however, 2.2% higher than in August.
