February 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth 68,731 levs ($39,900/35,100 euro) in January, up from financing of 21,800 levs in the same month of 2021.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 5.44 ha of land in the first month of 2022, compared to 7.1 ha in January 2021, the company said in a monthly report on Friday.
In January, Elana Agrocredit signed five deals for financing purchases of farm land.
The company typically finances 80% of the value of land purchases.
