April 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth 836,300 levs ($466,300/427,600 euro) in March, which was a significant increase from deals worth 470,356 levs in the same month of 2021.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 46.8 ha of land last month, compared to 44.4 ha of land in March 2021, the company said in a monthly report on Wednesday.

In March, Elana Agrocredit agreed 16 deals for financing purchases of farm land.
The company typically finances 80% of the value of land purchases, with agricultural fields making up 91.35% of its portfolio.
At a general meeting on May 19, Elana Agrocredit will propose to its shareholders to approve an annual dividend of 0.06726 per share for 2021.
