January 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth 423,400 levs ($245,500/216,500 euro) in December 2021, down from 569,900 levs in the comparable month of 2020.
Elana Agrocredit financed the purchase of 28.3 ha of land in the last month of 2021, compared to 46.7 ha in December 2020, the company said in a monthly report on Tuesday.
In December, Elana Agrocredit signed 12 deals for financing purchases of farm land.
The company typically finances 80% of the value of the purchases.
