November 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said on Thursday that it has signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth 353,000 levs ($215,000/180,000 euro) in October, down 60% year-on-year.
The company has financed the purchase of 26.7 ha of land in October, down from 75.6 ha financed in the same month of 2019, the company said in a monthly bulletin.
Elana Agrocredit typically finances 80% of the value of the deals.
The company's net profit edged up to 1.7 million levs in the first half of 2020, from 1.6 million levs in the like period of last year.
