January 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said on Tuesday that its standalone net profit rose to 2.84 million levs ($1.58 million/1.45 million euro) last year from 2.72 million levs in 2021.
The company's revenue increased to 9.12 million levs in 2022 from 8.05 million levs a year earlier, it said in an interim financial statement.
At the same time, operating expenses widened to 5.24 million levs from 4.56 million levs.
According to data from the financial statement, Elana Agrocredit signed 50 deals to finance purchases of a total of 230.3 ha of agricultural land worth about 4.57 million levs in the fourth quarter of 2022. In the full year, the total value of properties whose purchase was financed by the company amounted to 115.3 million levs.
As at CET 1437 on Tuesday, shares in Elana Agrocredit traded flat at 1.03 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
