April 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] has filed for regulatory approval to acquire control of local soap and detergent producer Veko, the Bulgarian competition authority said on Monday.
The concentration is not expected to lead to the establishment or strengthening of a dominant position, the Commission for Protection of Competition announced on its website.

Veko, based in Troyan, in central Bulgaria, produces washing powder, dishwashing detergents and liquid soaps under the brand IZI.
Doverie United Holding spans 20 companies operating in various sectors of the economy.
Doverie United Holding shares last traded on Friday when they closed 0.46% higher at 2.18 levs ($1.2/1.1 euro) in a trading volume of 495 units.
