SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 27 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] finalised on June 27 a deal to acquire local soap and detergent producer Veko, Doverie said on Tuesday.

Earlier this month the Commission for Protection of Competition granted Doverie United Holding approval for the deal.
Veko, based in Troyan, in central Bulgaria, produces washing powder, dishwashing detergents and liquid soaps under the brand IZI. The company has a registered capital of 5,000 levs ($2,870/2,550 euro), according to the country’s commercial register.
Doverie United Holding spans 20 companies operating in various sectors.
As at 15:40 CET on Tuesday, Doverie United Holding shares traded 4.84% higher at 1.929 levs.
