SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 21 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] said on Tuesday its consolidated after-tax profit fell to 1.2 million levs ($719,500/613,300 euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 10.5 million levs in prior-year period.
The diversified holding company’s total operating revenue decreased to 107.5 million levs in the January-September period compared to 110.4 million levs in the like period of 2016, Doverie United Holding said in an interim financial statement filed with the Sofia bourse.
The drop in total operating revenue can mostly be attributed to the decline in the company’s financial revenue, which fell to 2.8 million levs in the review period from 10.3 million levs the year before.
Operating expenses increased to 106.0 million levs in the period under review from 99.5 million levs a year earlier.
Doverie United Holding comprises 20 companies operating in various sectors of the economy.
