January 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's DallBogg: Life and Health has given up on its plans to start offering suretyship insurance in France, according to a statement published by Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission.
The Bulgarian regulator has informed its French peer about the company's decision, the FSC said in a statement on Thursday.
The regulator did not provide further details.
DallBogg: Life and Health was Bulgaria's tenth largest non-life insurer at the end of November 2019, according to FSC data. The company controlled a 5.7% market share with premiums of 125.7 million levs ($70.9 million/64.3 million euro).
Last year, the company received approval to offer suretyship insurance in Spain, Belgium, and Germany.
