November 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s consumer confidence index increased by 1.1 percentage points at the end of October as compared to July, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
The consumer sentiment index among urban population improved by 1.0 pp, while the indicator rose by 1.6 pp among rural population, the NSI said in a quarterly consumer sentiment survey.
The indicator weighing consumers’ opinion about the development of the general economic situation in the country over the 12 months preceding the survey improved by 2.0 pp compared to the consumer survey conducted in July.
The indicator which measures consumers' expectations for the economic situation in the 12 months following the survey improved by 3.3 pp compared to the previous survey.
