October 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] said on Friday that its shareholders have approved its plans to skip dividend distribution for 2020 and retain in full its profit for the year in the amount of 20.8 million levs ($12.2 million/10.6 million euro).
The proposal was supported by 92.63% of the shareholders present at a meeting held on October 5, the company said in a bourse filing.
The company skipped dividend distribution for 2019 when it recorded a standalone net profit of 36.7 million levs.
As at 15:45 CET on Friday, Chimimport shares traded 0.45% higher at 0.8840 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Chimimport has over 60 subsidiaries, active in various sectors of the economy, including banking, insurance, air transport, agriculture, petroleum and natural gas exploration, and others.
