January 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] said its non-consolidated net profit rose to 35.8 million levs ($22.8 million/18.3 milion euro) in 2017 from 26.5 million levs in the previous year.
The lender's net interest income grew to 118.8 million levs last year from 110.3 million levs in 2016, Central Cooperative Bank said in its 2017 financial statement issued on Tuesday.
Net fee and commission income edged up to 44.0 million levs in the review period from 43.3 million levs in 2016.
Central Cooperative Bank's operating expenses increased to 118.7 million levs in 2017, compared to 117.7 million levs a year earlier.
The lender's non-consolidated assets rose to 5.41 billion levs at end-2017 from 4.97 billion levs at end-2016.
Central Cooperative Bank was the eighth largest lender in Bulgaria in terms of assets as at end-November, according to data of Bulgaria's central bank.
