April 5 (SeeNews) - ViK Burgas, the water utility serving the coastal municipality of Burgas, said that it opened two tenders for water infrastructure works worth a combined 6.6 million levs ($4.0 million/3.4 million euro).
Both assignments benefit from EU financing under operational programme Environment 20214-2020, the water utility said in two separate tender notices published on the website of the public procurement agency on Friday.
The higher-priced tender, worth an estimated 4.5 million levs, envisages the expansion of the Meden Rudnik waste water treatment plant. The job should be completed in 850 days. The deadline for submitting offers is May 17. Price will carry a 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
The other tender, worth 2.1 million levs, is divided intro two lots and envisages supervision of reconstruction works on the water supply networks in the towns of Aythos, Karnobat, Kiten, Tsarevo and the village of Lozenets. The deadline for submitting offers is in this tender is May 7. Price will carry 70% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
