May 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned natural gas supplier Bulgargaz said it turned to a net loss of 29.3 million levs ($16.4 million/15 million euro) in the first quarter of 2017, from a net profit of 28.3 million levs in the like period of 2016.
The company’s revenue fell by an annual 15.18% to 332.1 million levs in the January-March period, Bulgargaz said in its Q1 2017 financial report posted on the website of the finance ministry.
Bulgargaz sold 1.1 billion cu m of gas in the review period, up by 14.27% year-on-year.
The company’s total assets rose 13.46% year-on-year to 291.8 million levs.
Bulgargaz is part of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), which pools all state-owned energy assets.
