July 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF] said on Friday that its net profit edged down to some 2.1 million levs ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) in the first half of 2021 from almost 2.2 million levs in the comparable period of last year.
The company's expenses jumped to some 2.25 million levs in January-June 2021 from 1.4 million levs in the same period of 2020, BREF said in an interim financial statement.
BREF's revenue rose to some 4.3 million levs in the review period from 3.6 million levs in the first half of last year.
The company's assets increased to 138.8 million levs at the end of June from 120.3 million levs a year earlier, the financial statement showed.
As at 14:50 CET on Friday, shares in BREF traded 0.87% lower at 2.28 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
