May 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] said on Wednesday that it has finalised the sale of the Doverie-Bricolage shopping centre in the coastal city of Varna, which it initially agreed in February for 6.8 million levs ($3.7 million/3.5 million euro).
The vendor did not confirm the final price of the deal or the identity of the buyer in a stock exchange filing announcing the closing of the transaction.

In late April, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) gave the green light to the purchase of a shopping centre with the same business address by privately-owned firm Gospodinovi Stroimarket. A company representative confirmed that Gospodinovi Stroimarket was the buyer in an interview with local business media Capital.
In 2020, BREF extended until December 2026 its lease agreements on two stores in Sofia and Varna with local Doverie-Brico, which is part of diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOH] and operates DIY stores in Bulgaria under the Mr. Bricolage brand.
As at 1223 CEST on Wednesday, shares in BREF traded up 0.94% at 2.14 levs on the Sofia bourse.
