February 22 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX showing the strongest growth.
The index climbed by 0.36% to 616.37 points mainly pushed up by IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] and Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS]. Allterco increased by 2.69% to 22.90 levs while Telelink climbed by 2.26% to 9.94 levs. The gains more than offset a loss of 3.03% to 7.68 levs at diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH].
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, advanced by 0.34% to 141.82 points. The index was boosted by diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG], which surged by 6.16% to 0.16 levs with 12,000 shares traded. Additionally, express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] jumped by 4.76% to 110 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, climbed by 0.19% to 187.02 points. The only gainer in the index was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which rose by 0.92% to 3.30 levs. The rest of the trusts closed flat.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was the only one to close in red after it slipped by 0.16% to 733.30 points. It was pushed down by Doverie United and a loss of 2.56% to 2.28 levs at First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:FIB].
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange fell to 901,606 levs ($490,558/460,984 euro) on Wednesday from 1.32 million levs the previous day.
The most traded stock was Texim Bank [BUL:TXIM], generating a turnover of 176,800 with 52,000 shares changing hands. The stock closed flat at 3.40 levs.
Elmark Invest [BUL:ELM], which listed its shares on Wednesday, had no trades.
