March 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Biovet is investing 120 million levs ($73.2 million/61.4 million euro) in a new production line which will be able to start production of COVID-19 vaccines in June, prime minister Boyko Borissov said.
The investment is part of a 400 million levs expansion project at the plant in Razgrad which will create 350 jobs, Borissov said in a statement following a visit to the plant on Saturday.
The new production line will have the capacity to produce millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccines, Borissov noted.
