August 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's biometric identification security solutions developer Biodit has increased its capital by 125,000 levs ($71,000/64,000 euro) to 12.625 million levs via a new share issue, according to commercial register data.
Biodit issued 125,000 shares, which were subscribed for by investors at a price of 1 lev ($0.57/0.51 euro) each, equal to their nominal value, documents entered into the commercial register last week showed.
A total of 50,000 shares were subscribed for by private investor Julian Sofroniev, while another 30,000 shares were acquired by local company Bright Side. Impetus Partners and Bolgar New Capital subscribed for 25,000 shares and 20,000 shares, respectively.
Earlier this month, Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission rejected Biodit's request for approval of an initial public offering (IPO) prospectus. Biodit was planning to offer 2.2 million shares for subscription in the 1.0-1.1 levs ($0.57-0.62 / 0.51-0.56 euro) price range.
