SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 29 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian printing and advertising firm Billboard [BUL:5BP] said on Monday its net profit rose to 319,000 levs ($182,400/163,200 euro) in the first quarter of 2017, from 161,000 levs in the like period of 2016.
Sales revenue edged down to 7.9 million levs in the January-March period, from 8 million levs a year earlier, Billboard said in a bourse filing.
Billboard’s costs for materials rose to 3.6 million levs in the review period, from 3.4 million levs the year before.
Expenses for external services fell to 1.7 million levs in the first quarter of 2017, compared to 2.1 million levs in the corresponding period of last year.
Billboard, established in 2001, offers wide format digital printing, offset printing and branding of vehicles.
