August 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian farming group BG Agro [BUL:] said on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit fell to 1.3 million levs ($737,000/665,000 euro) in the first half of 2019 from 3.6 million levs in the same period of 2019, following a decrease in revenue.
BG Agro booked operating revenue of 32.0 million levs in the January-June period of 2019, compared to revenue of 38.3 million levs in the corresponding period of 2018, the company said in an interim financial statement.

The company's operating expenses fell to 30.7 million levs in the review period from 34.7 million levs the year before, as cost of goods sold dropped to 21.3 million levs from 27.1 million levs.
BG Agro's consolidated assets rose to 114.8 million levs at the end of June from 111.1 million levs a year earlier.
