April 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Passengers, part of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding, said that it has launched a 17.4 million levs ($10.1 million/8.9 million euro) tender for overhaul of 10 electric locomotives, which are currently out of use.
Candidates should prove they have generated a minimum total turnover of at least 21 million levs in the past three full financial years, and a minimum turnover of 3.59 million levs from repairs of electric locomotives in the period, BDZ Passengers said in a tender notice earlier this week.
The deadline for submitting offers is May 17.
Bids will be ranked based on price, which will form 80% of the final mark, time for completing the repair of one locomotive - with 12% weight, and number of locomotives which can be repaired simultaneously - 8%.
