November 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Passengers, part of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding, said on Thursday that it has launched a tender for awarding a contract for the overhaul of 10 electric locomotives, worth an estimated 16.6 million levs ($9.3 million/8.5 million euro), VAT excluded.
Candidates should prove that they have generated a total turnover of 20 million levs in the past three full financial years, of which at least 8 million levs from repairs of electric locomotives, BDZ Passengers said in a tender notice.
The deadline for submitting offers is January 3, 2020.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 80% weight in the final mark, time for completing works (12% weight) and number of locomotives which can be overhauled simultaneously (8% weight).
