SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned railway company BDZ Passengers opened a tender for the supply of electricity worth an estimated 5.4 million levs ($3.2 million/2.8 million euro), VAT excluded, it said.

The assignment envisages the delivery of an estimated 11,200 MWh of power within a one-year period, the company said in a tender notice.

The deadline for submitting offers in the tender is October 28. Bids will be ranked solely based on price.

BDZ Passengers is part of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding.
