December 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Passengers, a unit of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding, said that it has invited Siemens Mobility to submit an offer for a five year contract for maintenance of locomotives, worth an estimated 3.7 million levs ($2.1 million/1.9 million euro).
The contract envisages maintenance of both electric and diesel locomotives owned by BDZ Passengers, the railway company said in a notice on Monday.
Sofia-based Siemens Mobility is a wholly-owned unit of Dutch-based Siemens Mobility Holding, which in turn is a unit of German giant Siemens Mobility.
