March 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Cargo, a unit of state-owned railways operator BDZ Holding, said that it has launched a tender for awarding a three-year framework agreement for supply of cast iron brake shoes, worth an estimated 2.4 million levs ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro).
The tender envisages the delivery of 1,500 tonnes of new cast iron brake shoes, BDZ Cargo said in a tender notice.
The contracting authority plans to select up to three candidates for the assignment.
Price will carry a 70% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
The deadline for submitting offers is May 8.
