January 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power plant equipment maintenance company Atomenergoremont [BUL:ATOM] said on Friday that its net profit rose to 16.1 million levs ($8.97 million/8.23 million euro) last year from 15.6 million levs in 2021 on the back of higher revenue.
The company's revenue jumped by 18.9% to 65.7 million levs in 2022, it said in an interim financial statement. Net sales generated 58.3 million levs in revenue, compared to 51.1 million levs the previous year.
In parallel, Atomenergoremont's operating expenses surged by an annual 25% to 49.6 million levs in the review period.
The company's assets totalled 243.8 million levs at the end of last year, up from 230.8 million levs in 2021.
Atomenergoremont has a production base at Bulgaria's only nuclear power plant, Kozloduy NPP. Shares in Atomenergoremont last traded at 6.20 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
