June 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Asenovgrad municipality said on Monday that it opened a 6.8 million levs ($4.1 million/3.5 million euro) tender for the construction of an installation for sorted green and/or biodegradable waste and an installation for pretreatment of mixed household waste.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Environment 2014-2020, the municipality said in a tender notice.
The composting installation will have an annual capacity of 12,000 tonnes, the notice showed.
Works on the project will also include the delivery of necessary materials and equipment and the construction of auxiliary infrastructure.
The deadline for submitting offers in the tender is July 26. Price will carry 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
