SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 8 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian arms producer Arcus [BUL:2AK1] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit rose to 4.0 million levs ($2.4 million/2.0 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 1.9 million levs in prior-year period.
The company’s operating revenue fell to 104.7 million levs in January-September from 110.6 million levs in the corresponding period of 2016, Arcus said in a bourse filing.
Operating expenses declined to 100.7 million levs in the review period from 108.7 million levs the year before.
Arcus, based in the town of Lyaskovets, northern Bulgaria, produces ammunition, fuses for artillery and tank ammunition, mortar bombs and air bombs, grenade launchers and small arms like pistols and revolvers.
