March 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment supplier AmonRa Energy [BUL:AMON] said that its net profit surged to 6.2 million levs ($3.36 million/3.17 million euro) in 2022 from 550,000 levs the year prior.
The company's revenue jumped to 56.3 million levs last year from 12.2 million levs in 2021, AmonRa Energy said in an annual financial statement last week. Of that, 50.5 million levs was generated from sales of goods, against 12.1 million levs the previous year, while sales of services went up to 5.7 million levs from 27,000 levs.

Operating expenses also increased in the review period, to 49.5 million levs from 11.5 million levs, mainly due to the higher cost of goods sold.
AmonRa Energy went public in November, raising over 3.1 million levs in an initial public offering.
Shares in AmonRa Energy last traded at 14.70 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
