January 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug wholesaler Alta Pharmaceuticals was awarded a 5.7 million levs ($3.3 million/2.9 million euro) contract by a local hospital for the supply of medicines in 2022, the contracting authority said.
Under the terms of the deal signed on December 20, the contractor will be responsible for the delivery of pharmaceuticals for the treatment of malignant diseases, Stara Zagora-based Oncology Centre said in a notice published on the website of the public procurement agency on Wednesday.
The tender for awarding the contract attracted offers from ten candidates. The bids were ranked based on price.
Sofia-based Alta Pharmaceuticals was founded in 2007 with business activity related to import of medicinal products, medical devices, food supplements, medical cosmetics, as well as their distribution to pharmacies and wholesalers of medicines.
