May 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] said that its non-consolidated net loss widened to 7.9 million levs ($4.5 million/4.0 million euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from 6.9 million levs in the same period of last year.
The company's operating expenses grew to 9.3 million levs in the first three months of the year from 8.3 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, Albena said in an interim financial statement on Tuesday.
Albena's operating revenue remained unchanged year-on-year at 1.4 million levs in the January-March period.
The company's largest shareholder at the end of March was local Albena Holding with a 63.39% stake.
