February 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] said that its non-consolidated net profit grew to 16.9 million levs ($9.6 million/8.6 million euro) in 2019 from 11 million levs the year before, backed by a rise in revenue.
Albena generated operating revenue of 113.1 million levs in 2019, up from 104.1 million levs a year earlier, it said in an annual financial statement last week.
The company's operating expenses also increased, to 94.8 million levs last year from 91.9 million levs in 2017, as expenses for hired services and amortisation costs grew.
Albena's assets rose to 602 million levs at the end of 2019, up from 579.9 million levs a year earlier.
Albena shares last traded at 41.2 levs on the Bulgarian Stock exchange, down 1.9% year-to-date.
Earlier this year, Albena signed a concession agreement for the Albena beach, on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.
