SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 18 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian fast food company Aladin Foods said on Friday it plans to invest 2.7 million levs ($1.61 million/1.38 million euro) in modernisation of its chicken meat processing factory in the town of Saedinenie.
near the country's second largest city of Plovdiv.
The new investment will increase the capacity of the factory by 33% to 20 tonnes per day, the company told SeeNews.
The company plans to open 15 new jobs in the factory under the project.
About 40% of project financing is a grant provided under the EU's Rural Development programme.
The deadline for the implementation of the project is November 2019.
Aladin Foods operates more than 30 fast food restaurants in the country. The company also owns a potato processing plant and an Arabic bread bakery.
