June 24 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria increased by an annual 42.3% to 3,978 in the first five months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Thursday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes went up 39.1% on the year to 2,681 in the January-May period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.

Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 59.6% to 1,264 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 43.9% year-on-year to 838,941 in the first five months of 2021. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 50.5% higher at 107,912.
