May 16 (SeeNews) - Five bids were submitted in a 54.1 million levs ($30 million/27.7 million euro) tender for the technical design and construction of an intermodal terminal in the city of Ruse, on the Danube river, official data showed.
The bidders are Pimk, Monolit Sofia, a consortium led by Eurobulproject and RVP Sofia, a consortium led by Trace Group Hold and Obonato Build and a consortium between Avtomagistrali - Tcherno More and Ingstroyengineering, according to data published in the public procurement register on Monday. The proposed prices were not disclosed.
The project envisages the design and construction of a terminal site to load and unload cargo and a new terminal train station. An intermodal terminal is a logistics platform for transferring cargo and shifting from one mode of transport to another.
The contract has a term of 24 months, including six months for the technical design and 18 months for construction.
