January 25 (SeeNews) - Total registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria dropped by an annual 11.4% to 8,806 in 2022, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) said on Wednesday.
Registrations of light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes sank 26.6% on the year to 4,889 in the January-December period, ACEA said in a press release.

In contrast, registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes climbed by 20.6% to 3,705.
In December alone, total new commercial vehicles registered in Bulgaria dropped by 17.4% to 566, while registrations of light commercial vehicles fell 15.4% to 363.
At the same time, newly-registered medium and heavy commercial vehicles declined by 11.9% to 199 in the month under review.
In the EU overall, new commercial vehicle registrations went down for the eighteenth month in a row in December, decreasing by 5.1% to 148,149 in annual terms. For the full 2022, EU registrations went down by 14.6% to 1.6 million.
