June 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's wheat crop is expected to reach some 5.0 million tonnes in 2014, the country's agriculture minister Dimitar Grekov said on Wednesday.
The barley crop is expected to reach some 700,000-800,000 tonnes this year, Grekov said in a statement issued after he officially opened the harvest season.

Despite the poor weather conditions, the crops are in good condition, Grekov added.
