November 15 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by an annual 15.6% to 29,005 in the first ten months of 2018, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Thursday, citing provisional figures.
In October alone, registrations of new passenger cars in the country fell 14.6% year-on-year to 2,562, ACEA said in a press release.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased 1.6% year-on-year to some 13.04 million in the January-October period, according to ACEA.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations rose 10.9% to 1.2 million in the first ten months of 2018.
In 2017, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations rose 18.5% to 31,244.
