November 25 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria dropped by an annual 27.3% to 5,914 in the first ten months of 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell 18.1% on the year to 4,010 in January-October, ACEA said in a statement citing provisional data.
Registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles of over 16 t. plunged 40.5% to 1,679 in the first nine months of 2020.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 22.2% to 1.38 million in January-October. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 27.8% lower at 158,635.
