April 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceutical company Phoenix Pharma, part of Germany's Phoenix Group, has signed a 698,000 levs ($436,600/356,900 euro) drug supply deal with Pernik-based hospital Rahila Angelova, the hospital said on Tuesday.
The deal was signed on March 20, the Pernik-based hospital said in a notice.
Last week, Germany's Phoenix Group said it has signed an agreement to buy Romanian drugs wholesaler Farmexim and pharmacy chain Help Net Farma for an undisclosed sum.
Earlier this month, Phoenix Pharma signed a 1.5 million levs drug supply deal with Varna-based hospital St. Marina.
Besides wholesale, Phoenix Pharma's activities also include pre-wholesale, as well as development of pharmacy software. The company has four distribution centres in Bulgaria - in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
Phoenix Pharma has a registered capital of 35.6 million levs, according to data from the country's commercial register.
