November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Maritza 3 said on Thursday its consolidated net profit increased to 4.5 million levs ($3.0 million/2.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, from 2.9 million levs in the like period of 2016.
Operating revenue rose to 12.9 million levs in the January-September period, from 9.5 million levs a year earlier, TPP Maritsa 3 said in a bourse filing.
The coal-fired power plant's operating expenses increased to 8.4 million levs in the review period, from 6.6 million levs.
TPP Maritsa 3 is located in the town of Dimitrovgrad, in southern Bulgaria. Its largest single shareholder is London-registered Topgroup with a 49% stake.
