November 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Bobov Dol [BUL:TC8A] said its consolidated net profit rose to 6.5 million levs ($4.0 million/3.3 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 2.5 million levs in the prior-year period.
The company's operating revenue grew to 96.6 million levs in January-September, compared to 82.7 million levs in the year-ago period, Bobov Dol said in a bourse filing on Friday.
The TPP’s operating costs increased to 90.0 million levs in the review period from 80.3 million levs in the like period of 2016.
Bobov Dol, established in 2000, is a coal-fired power plant located in the Kyustendil region, in southwestern Bulgaria, with an installed capacity of 630 megawatts. In 2008, the government sold Bobov Dol TPP to local consortium Energy MK, which remains the sole owner.
