December 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian textile producer Kalinel inaugurated in Teteven, in the north of the country, a new production unit in which it has invested 150,000 levs ($80,900/76,700 euro) so far, the local municipality said on Friday.
Kalinel expects to spend an additional 150,000 levs on the faciity as it is already in a process of building a dining and recreation hall, a cafe and a company shop at the site, the Municipality of Teteven said in a statement.
The unit is located on an area of 700 square metres and has created 60 new jobs. The unit has five production lines for filling garden cushions and mattresses.
Kalinel is a producer of home textile, specialising in pillows, cushions, quilts, mattress covers and protectors as well as mattresses. The company’s main production site and headquarters are located in the Bulgarian town of Troyan. The firm also has production sites in Cherven Bryag, Bulgaria, and Vranie, Serbia.
