SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 29 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian sugar producer Zaharni Zavodi [BUL:3Z9] said on Wednesday it turned to a consolidated net loss of 7.2 million levs ($4.4 million/3.7 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, from a net profit of 1.8 million levs in the year-ago period.
The company’s operating revenue edged down to 116.6 million levs in the January-September period from 118.1 million levs a year earlier, Zaharni Zavodi said in a bourse filing.
Zaharni Zavodi’s consolidated operating expenses increased to 118.3 million levs in the review period compared to 110.9 million levs in the like period of last year.
Zaharni Zavodi operates several production plants – a sugar refinery, a confectionery and an ethyl alcohol distillery.
