February 17 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX gaining 0.23% to 607.30 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was driven by pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA], which increased by 3.14% to 4.60 levs, and fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH], which grew 0.99% to 40.80 levs.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, gained the most ground of the day, climbing 0.81% to 140.41 points. The top performer in the index was diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] after jumping 11.11% to 10.00 levs, followed by pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM], which rose 3.45% to 3.00 levs.
Stara Planina Hold and Sopharma also buoyed the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index added 0.51% to 735.72 points, further helped by a 2.23% rise in farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 27.50 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.13% higher at 186.32 points. Its performance was pushed by real estate investment trust (REIT) Balkan and Sea Properties [BUL:BSP], which increased by 0.36% to 22.00 levs, as well as Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], with a rise of 0.31% to 3.27 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange went up to 913,674 levs ($499,855/467,152 euro) on Friday from 659,139 levs on Thursday.
The most traded stock of the day was online media company Investor.bg [BUL:IBG], generating a turnover of 190,080 levs with 9,900 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 19.20 levs.
